CDA380 (C38000) Architectural bronze, low leaded CDA380 standards and properties
CDA380 (C38000) Architectural bronze, low leaded is characterised by good machinability coupled with a high hardness.
CDA380 (C38000) Architectural bronze may be used for architectural sections, window frames, door frames and hinges amongst
others. The alloy may be hot forged but will require post-forging heat treatment to alleviate the retained beta structure that is
caused by rapid cooling in the forging dies. Heat treatment usually requires the raising of temperature of the component to above
454°C for significant time to allow homogenisation to occur. Consult with the CDA when in doubt.
